That's right... I have quit smoking. After 20 years, I have decided that it is no longer 'cool' (no judgements regarding anyone else intended) and have decided to stop. I quit last week and have had no regrets.
I really don't miss smoking... I don't miss the smell, I don't miss standing outstide in the cold, I don't miss being a social outcast. I'm sure Owen doesn't miss the second-hand smoke either ; ).
I'm actually pretty happy about it and I just wanted to let you all know that despite the fact that everyone hates a quitter, I'm hoping that you'll find it in your hearts to accept me for who I am now even though I've changed. I promise to never become a tyrannical ex-anti-smoker.
