Anniversary

Good Morning my Friends,

Anniversary of what you may be asking yourselves... well, in case some of you have forgotten, here's a reminder: http://lesleys-blog.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html

That's right! One year ago today I quit smoking and I have not looked back! I gained a few pounds; I lost them. 2006 may not have been my best year in many ways, but I accomplished at least one good thing. I no longer live in fear of not being able to smoke anymore. I know, it's a silly fear to those of you who have never smoked; but those of you who have (do), know exactly what I'm talking about.

I hope that you all have a lovely day today as I intend to. It is going to be sunny and 8C here in Toronto and I think that I will go shopping after work today!

In the (now immortal) words of my grandmother, A.J. McGilly: See ya an' be good!

Congratulations. A major accomplishment to be sure considering the tobacco companies friggin' admitted to putting addictive ingredients into the formula. Way to sock it to them.

nicely done. Congrats, especially considering that you quit without using the patch or any other wussy devices...Phil
